I'm fundraising for ANZUP

I work with ANZUP and have seen first hand how the collaborative approach to clinical trials research creates the best outcomes for people living with cancers of the bladder, kidney, prostate, testes, penis, and urothelial tract.  I am raising money as part of my participation in 2021 Below the Belt #YourWay Challenge.

Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about ANZUP, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.

We want people to know about GU cancers, raising awareness is as important as raising funds.

My Updates

in-laws and out-laws

Wednesday 5th May
Katie Pack, my sister-in-law, thank you for supporting my fundraising activities. So many experiences shared with me remaining an out-law. Katie is studying, raising two school-aged boys, managing chooks, and family life - she is amazing!

Friends who walk

Wednesday 5th May
After sharing many school working bees, events, and gardening sessions, our kids have moved on from primary school were we met. Kate Low and I have walked together most Friday mornings for the past 4 years, initially with her dog Genie and now with mine too.  In addition to the friendship and mutual support we share during these times, Kate is an unflagging supporter of my fundraising activities - I am very grateful.

Here we are with Isabel in Redfern, walking without dogs.

Family - they know you the longest

Monday 3rd May
I am blessed to belong to a large extended family, my Mum was the youngest of 9 and i am 1 of 32 grandchildren. My early life was spent surrounded by my older, cooler cousins. Here they are still supporting me in what I do - thank you Kim and Graham!!

Colleagues who become friends

Monday 3rd May
More years ago than I care to remember I had the pleasure to work with Sarah Tees (when she had a different name) on a breast cancer trial. Later we worked together on gynaecological cancer trials and then she moved to the UK with her husband. We stay in touch through social media and it is such a pleasure to see Sarah and her family trumpet their way through the world. Incredibly, Sarah supports many things I do from afar. She has kindly donated to support my #MoveYourWay effort.  Thanks so much Sarah!

Thanks Mum!

Sunday 2nd May
Wanting to thank my Mum, Shirley Ruth, for once again supporting my fundraising activities. She is my consistent and devoted supporter in what I do and an inspiration to many.
I'm a very lucky and grateful daughter.
