7 Sydney Pedalthons, 5 cancers, 1,038 laps, 4,079 kilometers (that's from Sydney to Darwin!), an extraordinary $53,000 raised and the funds are still rolling in!
THANK YOU to every rider, supporter and volunteer who joined us at Sydney Motorsport Park last Tuesday for your energy and commitment to making it a fantastic day, as well as your amazing efforts in raising vital funds for testicular, prostate, penile, kidney and bladder cancer research!
We are thrilled to announce that we have raised $53,000 and donations are still rolling in. An extra big thank you to each and everyone of our riders, sponsors and donors for your amazing achievement.
Another milestone was made with the funds raised from this event ticking us over to more than $2 million raised since 2014. That is over $2 million going straight to ANZUP Cancer Trials Group to improve the lives of people affected by bladder, kidney, testicular, penile, and prostate cancers through practice-changing multidisciplinary collaborative clinical trials

Research fund projects
In 2015 ANZUP set up the Below the Belt Research Fund, as a direct result of the Pedalthon, to help our clinicians kick start new trial ideas. To date, seed funding has been awarded to 36 ANZUP members to help gather the evidence needed to develop full scale clinical research studies.
These funding opportunities simply wouldn’t be available without the Pedalthon.
