This September cycle, run or walk to raise awareness and funds for below the belt cancer research

Since 2014, Aussie bike riders have taken part in our Below the Belt Pedalthon, and they’ve raised $1.75 million for below the belt cancer research.

But in 2020, we're doing things differently.

This September, we're challenging you to walk, run or cycle #YourWay as many kilometers as you can. You can do it wherever you like and whenever you like, all while raising funds to help improve the lives of those affected by below the belt (prostate, testicular, bladder, kidney and penile) cancers.

Last year 27,224 Aussies were diagnosed with a below the belt cancer, and 4,502 in people in New Zealand. That's 77 people every day!

At ANZUP, we conduct clinical trials and research for below the belt cancers to improve lives. But without extraordinary people like you, it wouldn't be possible.

Improve your fitness, raise awareness and help us fund future clinical trials for below the belt cancers.

Do it #YourWay

As we cannot come together due to social distancing, the Below the Belt #YourWay Challenge is about doing it #YourWay from the comfort of your home, in your office or in your local area to help raise awareness and much needed funds for below the belt cancers.

You can choose to cycle, walk or run. Do it as a team, with your family, with a friend or by yourself. Do it every day, or some days in September. Open to all in Australia and New Zealand.

Track your kilometres throughout September

What you need

Participating in Below the Belt #YourWay is easy - simply use what you already have at home. You will need:

A way to complete your kilometres:
This could be a bike, trainer, stationary exercise bike, treadmill or the great outdoors.
A way to track your kilometres:
This could be your smartphone with Strava, Zwift, Fitbit, MapMyFitness or other health app, or it could be a pedometer or other fitness tracker - up to you!

It's that simple to participate #YourWay.
